Stuart Irwin, Ian Leonard and Robin Coughlin of Interpath, a provider of advisory and restructuring services, have been appointed joint administrators for Glens of Antrim Potatoes Ltd.
The company, which was established in 1972, has historically grown and packed potatoes for supermarkets and grocery chains throughout the island.
Its operations are based at sites in Ballymena and Cushendall in County Antrim.
A total of 95 staff members were employed by the business before its current financial difficulties emerged.
Most of those workers have lost their jobs as a result of the administration process.
In addition to fresh produce, the firm manufactures hand-cooked potato crisps under the Glens of Antrim Crisps brand.
It also produces own-label crisps for Tesco in the Republic of Ireland under its Finest range.
Interpath stated that the agri-food sector has encountered significant challenges over recent years, with businesses heavily impacted by rising input costs.
