Afghanistan to release 10,000 prisoners over 55 over coronavirus concerns
Afghanistan will release 10,000 prisoners over the age of 55 to reduce risk of coronavirus spread in prisons. The move excludes members of the Taliban and Islamic State. The release process will be completed within 10 days.
