Israeli air strikes in the eastern Bekaa Valley killed at least 10 people and injured more than 25, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency. The strikes targeted a building in Riyaq, where a search for survivors was ongoing.
An Israeli drone strike hit the Hittin neighbourhood of Ein el-Hilweh refugee camp, killing two people and damaging a structure used for food aid distribution. The attack occurred on the outskirts of Sidon, a southern Lebanese city.
Israel’s military stated it struck Hezbollah command centres in Baalbek and a Hamas command centre in the refugee camp. A Hezbollah source confirmed a military leader from the group was among the dead.
