Russia launched 53 ballistic and cruise missiles and 496 drones in an overnight attack on Ukraine. The assault targeted multiple regions, including Lviv, where four people died in a combined drone and missile strike.
A business complex on Lviv’s outskirts caught fire after the strike, described as a civilian facility. Two districts in the city lost power, and public transport was disrupted for several hours.
In Zaporizhzhia, a separate strike killed one civilian and injured nine others, including a 16-year-old. The attack destroyed residential buildings and left about 73,000 households without power.
