Five people were killed in Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip on 2 February 2026, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. A 3-year-old boy was among those reported dead in the attacks.
Two fatalities occurred in the Nuseirat refugee camp, while one death was reported in Al-Mawasi, Khan Yunis, and Jabalia. The strikes resulted in four additional injuries, as confirmed by the health ministry.
The Israeli military stated the individuals targeted were militants operating near the demarcation line. They claimed the suspects approached IDF soldiers and posed an imminent threat.
