Germany enacts vaccine mandate for health workers
The Bundestag and Bundesrat approve a revised Infectious Disease Protection Act requiring healthcare workers to be vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19. The law also permits closures of bars, restaurants, theatres, and suspension of cultural and sporting events in high-risk areas.
