Dubai introduces saliva tests for children aged 3-16
The Dubai Health Authority began using saliva tests to detect active COVID-19 infections in children aged 3 to 16 across all DHA facilities and screening centres on 22 November 2020. The test offers a less uncomfortable alternative to nasal swabs and has demonstrated high diagnostic accuracy.
