Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald has introduced a new financial framework intended to aid small businesses in securing additional revenue through foreign markets.
Officials expect the programme will assist approximately 240 companies over the coming three years, covering both established firms and new entrants.
Participating organisations will be registered with Invest NI and become eligible for funding caps of £15,000 per business.
The allocated funds are earmarked for activities including product development, marketing campaigns, market research and staff training.
In addition to financial aid, participants will be required to attend workshops aimed at building the expertise needed to access overseas opportunities.
This arrangement aligns with the Department for the Economy's objective to broaden its portfolio of engaged companies across the north.
Media inquiries regarding the scheme should be directed to the Department for the Economy Press Office.
