Edwin Edogbo has signed a two-year extension with Munster, ensuring he remains with the province through 2029.
The Ireland international confirmed the agreement was reached on Friday evening.
Edogbo previously joined the Munster academy in Cobh, becoming the first player from that town to reach the provincial training ground.
He made his full international debut for Munster in a match against Dragons away at Wexford.
During his initial season with the squad, Edogbo featured in eight games as the province secured the United Rugby Championship title.
The new contract represents a significant commitment from both parties regarding his long-term development within the club structure.
Munster continues to focus on nurturing homegrown talent alongside international recruits for their upcoming campaigns.
Edogbo is expected to remain available for selection in future competitions under this renewed arrangement.
