First Minister Michelle O'Neill was present at the gathering in Drumcree alongside other attendees.

A group of residents from Orangemen and Garvaghy Road met Sir Chris Bryant during Thursday night's session at Hillsborough Castle, yet no resolution to their impasse was achieved.

Legal action taken by those same residents to stop the procession was scheduled for Friday but has since been moved to Monday.

The PSNI confirmed that its inquiry into individuals suspected of committing offences connected with this disagreement remains ongoing.
