Stephen McCullagh, 36, was found guilty of murdering his partner Natalie McNally at her Lurgan home in December 2022. The jury reached a verdict in under three hours after a trial lasting over four weeks.
Natalie McNally was 32 years old and 15 weeks pregnant at the time of her death. She died from blunt force trauma, strangulation, and stab wounds sustained in her home.
The trial judge, Mr Justice Kinney, confirmed the offence carries a life sentence. A tariff hearing is scheduled for 15 May to determine the minimum term. The family and police were present in court when the verdict was delivered.
