Glentoran have completed the season-long loan signing of Kilmarnock defender Ethan Schilte-Brown, subject to the necessary clearance.
The 21-year-old centre-back moves from Rugby Park to the BetMcLean Oval after establishing himself in Kilmarnock's senior squad during the 2025/26 campaign.
Schilte-Brown made 18 Scottish Premiership appearances last season and was named Kilmarnock's Young Player of the Year. A further league appearance at the beginning of the current campaign took his Premiership total for the Ayrshire club to 19.
Born in Richmond, Virginia, the 6ft 3in defender developed in Orlando City's youth system before moving to Scotland. Senior loan spells with Cumnock Juniors, Albion Rovers and Dumbarton preceded his breakthrough at Kilmarnock.
He is already familiar with the BetMcLean Oval, having played there for Kilmarnock during a pre-season meeting with Glentoran in July.
The Canada youth international becomes Glentoran's fifth summer arrival as manager Declan Devine strengthens the centre of his defence for the 2026/27 campaign. Zeno Ibsen Rossi, Greg Sloggett, Rhys Walsh and Lekan Sule had already joined the east Belfast club.
Schilte-Brown will now compete for a place in a Glentoran side that has begun the domestic season with three successive Premiership victories.
