Former students who completed their studies at Greenmount Campus in 1966 are being invited to a 60-year reunion later this year.

The Greenmount Association said the event will take place on Friday 23 October, starting at 10.00am. It is intended for members of the Greenmount Class of 1966.

The association said the reunion will give former students an opportunity to return to the college, reconnect with classmates and friends, and reflect on experiences linked to their time at Greenmount.

Guests will be able to share memories from their student days, hear how life has unfolded for others in the class and revisit a campus described in the announcement as part of the history of Northern Ireland’s agriculture and horticulture industries.

Attendance costs £20 per person. The price includes a two-course meal, with tea and coffee available throughout the event.

Former students are being asked to RSVP by 30 September to help with catering and event arrangements. The association has asked classmates to spread the word to others who may not yet have heard about the reunion, and attendance can be confirmed through greenmountassociation1@gmail.com.

The programme is intended to combine a return to the campus with time for former classmates to renew old acquaintances over the scheduled meal.
