Dplus KIA swept Karmine Corp in the Grand Final to win the League of Legends title at the 2026 Esports World Cup. The Korean team overcame home favourites in front of a French crowd in Paris.

Dplus KIA secured victory by dominating every map with strong laning, objective control and disciplined team fights. They built a 10,000-gold advantage in Game 3 within 24 minutes.

Bot laner Smash was named Sony MVP for his performance across the series. He recorded an 8.1 KDA, 69.8% kill participation and 836 damage per minute.
