Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar, and Syria closed their respective airspaces to civilian flights as a precautionary measure following a series of airstrikes targeting Iran. The closures were prompted by a joint military operation conducted by Israel and the United States against Iran, which resulted in explosions reported in Tehran.

The UAE implemented a partial closure of its airspace, with the General Civil Aviation Authority citing a comprehensive assessment of security and operational risks. Later, the UAE indefinitely suspended all flights from Al Maktoum and Dubai International Airports.

Qatar suspended all air traffic due to heightened security concerns, with its Ministry of Defence stating that several attacks had been intercepted before reaching Qatari territory. Bahrain reported missile attacks on sites within its territory, including a facility linked to the Fifth Fleet, and activated emergency response plans.
