Israel passes law blocking Palestinian spouses' citizenship
The Knesset voted 45–15 to bar Palestinian spouses from the West Bank or Gaza from obtaining Israeli citizenship, replacing a temporary measure that expired last year. The law also restricts family reunification with spouses from Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.
