Ivory Coast launches mass vaccination using COVAX AstraZeneca doses
Ivory Coast initiated its mass vaccination campaign against COVID-19 on 1 March 2021, using 504,000 doses of the Oxford–AstraZeneca vaccine delivered via the COVAX initiative. The campaign prioritised health workers, teachers, and armed forces personnel.
