Maharashtra enacts nightly curfew and weekend lockdown to curb COVID-19 spread
The Maharashtra state government announced a nightly curfew from 8 pm and a weekend lockdown from Friday night to Monday morning, effective from 5 April 2021, to reduce rising COVID-19 cases. These measures were to last until 30 April 2021.
