Former soldier Soldier F to face murder charge over 1972 Belfast shooting
The Public Prosecution Service confirms Soldier F will face prosecution for the 1972 murder of Patrick McVeigh in Belfast, along with six counts of attempted murder. Three other former soldiers will also be prosecuted for attempted murder.
