Canon Patrick McEntee, 71, from Dromore, County Tyrone, was sentenced to seven years in prison at Dungannon Crown Court. He was convicted on eight counts of indecent assault involving four boys.
The abuse occurred between the late 1970s and late 1980s, with victims aged between 11 and 17. McEntee, a former religious studies teacher, used his position to abuse children in his private quarters.
Judge Greene described McEntee as a predatory paedophile who showed no remorse and presented a medium risk of reoffending. He will remain on the sex offenders register for life.
