Demonstrations organised by the Royal Black Institution took place at five locations on Saturday, marking the traditional end to the summer marching season.
Events were held in Newry, Larne, Dungannon, Dundonald and Coleraine, with participants drawn from Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and other countries including Australia and New Zealand.
The organisation describes itself as being based on the teachings of Holy Scripture and committed to the furtherance of the Christian message of the Cross.
Its members are known as Sir Knights and the institution was founded in Ireland in 1797, two years after the formation of the Orange Order.
Large crowds lined routes as lodges paraded through their respective host towns before proceeding to traditional platform proceedings and religious address.
The group holds two principal annual demonstrations: the Sham Fight on 13 July and the Last Saturday demonstration at the end of August.
While most activities are based in Northern Ireland, preceptories exist in Scotland, England, Canada and other regions worldwide.
Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) leader Gavin Robinson was among those attending the demonstrations on Saturday.
