Seychelles launches Africa's first COVID-19 vaccination campaign
Seychelles began its national vaccination campaign against COVID-19 on 11 January 2021, becoming the first African country to do so. The initiative commenced with the president and other national leaders receiving the Sinopharm vaccine, donated by the United Arab Emirates.
