Sinovac Biotech has initiated Phase III trials in Brazil for its potential COVID-19 vaccine, following fast-track approval by Brazilian regulators. The trial, conducted with Instituto Butantan, will recruit nearly 9,000 healthcare workers in COVID-19 facilities and begin this month.
