Wireless Festival cancelled after Kanye West banned from UK entry

The 2026 Wireless Festival in London has been cancelled following the Home Office's decision to bar Kanye West from entering the UK due to his past antisemitic remarks and associations with neo-Nazis. All ticket holders will receive refunds.

The Home Office blocked Kanye West from entering the UK on 7 April 2026, stating his presence would not be conducive to the public good. This decision followed widespread criticism over his history of antisemitic and pro-Nazi statements.

Festival Republic, which organises Wireless, confirmed the cancellation and announced full refunds for ticket holders. The company said multiple stakeholders had been consulted before booking West, with no concerns raised at the time.

Sponsors Pepsi and Diageo withdrew from the event after backlash over West's booking. The Board of Deputies of British Jews welcomed the government's action, calling the initial invitation deeply regrettable.
