An Israeli drone strike hit the Dream Palace hall west of Khan Younis, killing Akram Mohammed Mahmoud Abu Madi, 31, and Julia Khaled al-Balawi, 8. The two bodies were recovered and transferred to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis.
Another drone strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people inside a school in the Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City. One person was killed and several others wounded, with the school suffering extensive damage. The injured were treated at the scene or at Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
The Gaza Health Ministry reported nine deaths and 41 injuries in the previous 24 hours. Fuel shortages are forcing desalination plants to close, reducing water supply to no more than 20 percent of pre-war levels. The water sector is facing a rapidly accelerating collapse, increasing the risk of a public health emergency.
