U.S. reaches 70% adult vaccination milestone
The U.S. achieved the Biden administration's target of 70% of adults receiving at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, nearly a month after the original July 4 deadline. The milestone followed a rise in daily vaccinations and was reported by the CDC on 2 August 2021.
