The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise is encouraging prospective students to consider its Honours Degree and Foundation Degree courses through UCAS Clearing.
CAFRE said Clearing gives students who have not yet secured a university place the opportunity to apply for degree programmes starting in September 2026. Available courses include BSc Honours and Foundation Degree routes validated by Ulster University.
The college said students choose CAFRE for its links with industry and its focus on preparing graduates for careers in the agri-food and land-based sectors. Courses are developed with employers to support workplace knowledge and practical skills.
According to CAFRE, more than 95% of its graduates either enter employment or progress to further study within six months of completing their course. The college said this reflects its work with industry and its career-focused approach.
The available degree areas include Agri-Food, Equine and Horticulture. CAFRE said the Clearing route may suit late applicants, those who have declined a previous offer, or students considering a change in direction.
Student Recruitment Advisers are available to discuss courses and guide applicants through the Clearing process. CAFRE said anyone interested in studying at the college should contact the Student Recruitment Team to discuss options and places available for September 2026.
