The annual Culture Night Belfast festival is set to take place on Friday 18 September, running from 4pm until 10pm.
Belfast City Council has announced it will provide financial backing for the event alongside Business Improvement Districts in the Linen Quarter and Cathedral Quarter.
More than two hundred family-friendly activities have been organised across the city, aiming to turn everyday locations into centres of activity.
The programme was developed through an open consultation with local artists and creatives by MayWe and DaisyChain Inc.
Key venues including City Hall, 2 Royal Avenue, The Ulster Hall and various heritage buildings are among those hosting events.
Two specific hubs have been established at 2 Royal Avenue and The MAC to offer quieter areas for attendees.
Facilities designed for people with disabilities are situated at Belfast Waterfront and Ulster University.
A dedicated website provides accessibility details for all participating sites.
Transport options include the Translink Metro and Glider, with no road closures planned during the night.
Timetables for late-night services can be found on the official transport operator's site.
The celebration comes shortly after the conclusion of Belfast's inaugural Fleadh Cheoil earlier this summer.
Organisers describe the upcoming festival as a continuation of the cultural energy generated over the past few weeks.
