Farm businesses considering an application to DAERA’s Sustainable Farming Investment Scheme have until 11.59pm on Thursday 3 September to apply in the first round.
The scheme offers grant aid for eligible on-farm equipment and technology. DAERA said investments between £3,000 and £62,500 could qualify for support at a rate of 40%.
Grants of up to £25,000 are available, with up to £40 million allocated to the scheme, according to the department.
