A Russian missile and drone assault on Kyiv resulted in four fatalities and more than a hundred injuries. The National Chernobyl Museum was reported to have been effectively destroyed during the attack.

Ukraine's air force confirmed 19 missile and 51 drone strikes across 54 locations in the capital. Residential buildings, shopping centres, and emergency services facilities were among the targets.

The museum's interior showed broken glass and scattered rubble following the attack, according to images released by Ukraine's Interior Ministry. Officials described the strike as a deliberate act against historical memory and truth.
