Russian forces launched a wave of missile and drone strikes across Ukraine on 23 February 2026, killing four people, including two civilians in Odesa. The attacks occurred on the eve of the fourth anniversary of the war in Europe.

In Odesa, two people were killed when drones struck industrial, energy, and civilian infrastructure, according to regional governor Oleh Kiper. The strikes damaged production and warehouse facilities, administrative buildings, car dealership premises, and vehicles.

In Zaporizhia, more than 750 attacks were reported across 44 settlements, with two fatalities in the city of Zaporizhzhia. A missile strike hit Kharkiv’s Kholodnogirsky district, with emergency teams assessing the damage.
