Belfast Wolves secured a comprehensive victory over Dublin Guardians in the opening fixture of the new European Twenty20 Premier League at Voorburg.
Glenn Maxwell, who co-owns and captains the Belfast franchise, was the standout performer with a match-winning 59 not out off 38 deliveries.
Mark Chapman added 54 runs to help the Wolves post a total of 184-7 in their allotted 20 overs.
The Irish duo of Matthew Humphreys and Mark Adair, alongside Netherlands international Fred Klaassen, each claimed two wickets as the Guardians were restricted to 132-9.
Dublin Guardians' top scorer was Dockrell with 35 runs, while Wood contributed 25 before the match ended in a 52-run margin.
The competition marks the debut of the ETPL, featuring squads from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Rotterdam and Amsterdam alongside Belfast and Dublin.
Following a period of rain that caused a delay, the Guardians won the coin toss and chose to bowl first.
The two sides are scheduled to meet again in the second round of fixtures before play-off matches at Malahide in Dublin.
