Tokyo, Kyoto and Okinawa cities face stricter COVID-19 measures from 15 April
The government has designated Tokyo, Kyoto, and nine Okinawa cities for stricter measures, including business closures at 8:00 p.m., to reduce rising cases. These apply from 15 April until 5 May for Kyoto and Okinawa, and until 11 May for Tokyo.
