The IDF confirmed the killing of Amro Abu Alrish, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad Nukhba militant, in a strike in Gaza. He was reported to have been involved in multiple attacks against Israeli soldiers and in training Nukhba terrorists.
A separate IDF strike killed Hamas commander Abd Al-Nasser Al-Aziz Maqadmeh in Gaza. The strike occurred on the same day as the discovery and destruction of a Hamas tunnel network in northern Gaza.
The tunnel network was located east of the Yellow Line and destroyed by the IDF's Northern Gaza Brigade and Yahalom Unit. The operation followed a joint IDF and Shin Bet strike that killed the head of Hamas's internal security, Wael Musa Khaled Ladawi.
