The Knicks secured their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999 by defeating the Cavaliers 130–93 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals. They achieved this with a 38–26 first-quarter lead and a 20–0 run that extended into the second quarter.

Jalen Brunson recorded 15 points and five assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. OG Anunoby contributed 17 points, and Landry Shamet added 16 off the bench.

The Knicks outscored the Cavaliers 32–5 in second-chance points and 33–9 in fast-break points. They held a 35-point lead with 7:47 remaining, prompting the early removal of their starters. The team will face the winner of the Western Conference finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs.
