An Iranian missile struck a terraced residential building in Haifa, causing extensive structural damage and collapse of balconies. The lower floor sustained a direct hit, resulting in significant debris and trapped occupants.
Rescue teams from Haifa and Lahav 433 located two bodies beneath the rubble, both found without signs of life. The 82-year-old man who was wounded was initially listed as serious, later upgraded to serious after surgery.
Eight others were treated for light injuries, including a baby, and four were treated for shock. A gas balloon explosion occurred at the scene, and two people remained unaccounted for as of Monday morning.
