Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that ending the conflict with the United States and Israel depends on recognition of Iran's legitimate rights. He specified that payment of reparations is a necessary condition for peace.
Pezeshkian also called for firm international guarantees against future aggression by the United States or Israel. These conditions were outlined in a social media post on the platform X.
Iran's armed forces warned of massive retaliation if the United States strikes Iranian ports. Abolfazl Shekarchi, a military spokesman, said no port or economic centre in the Persian Gulf would be beyond reach.
