South Africa have recorded a mixed beginning to their WXV campaign, securing wins against Spain and Italy before suffering a significant defeat at the hands of Wales.

Ireland are set to play in South Africa for the first time, with hopes that they can mark the occasion with a historic victory.

The Irish team has made vast improvements under head coach Scott Bemand, though their WXV campaign has begun with mixed results.

They lost to the USA in their opening match but recovered with a win over Japan in Galway.

Ireland subsequently defeated Japan for a second game in a Test match held outside the WXV tournament.

Dorothy Wall, who previously competed in the Sevens programme before transitioning to 15s for her Ireland debut in the 2020 Six Nations, is discussing the Springboks and surfing ahead of the fixtures.

Wall also spoke about her iconic pink scrum cap in preparation for Ireland's WXV Tests in South Africa.

Ahead of the upcoming matches, Wall discussed the Springboks alongside other topics including surfing and her distinctive pink scrum cap.
