The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the deaths of Murad Abu Murad, head of Hamas's air operations, and Ali Qadhi, a senior Hamas commander, in airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on 14 October 2023. Both were linked to the 7 October attack on Israel.
