Linfield Women secured a comprehensive 7-1 victory over Crusaders Strikers at the Brandywell on Saturday evening.
The home side took control early, with Rachel McLaren opening the scoring in the 27th minute through a powerful long-range drive that beat the goalkeeper.
McLaren's goal marked her first league strike for Linfield this season and remains her only senior cap appearance since joining from Crusaders ahead of the 2026 campaign.
Abi Sweetlove added to the Blues' tally in the second half, contributing significantly to their attacking output during the match.
Crusaders Strikers managed a single goal but could not mount a sustained challenge against the superior Linfield side.
The result sees Linfield Women move up the table following their previous fixture with Crusaders Strikers earlier in the season.
Linfield Women are scheduled to face Lisburn Rangers at home on September 4th, while Crusaders Strikers travel to Larne Academy of Sport to meet Larne Women on the same day.
Rachel McLaren will return to action against her former club Crusaders Strikers two nights later when Midgley Park hosts them.
The match concluded with Linfield Women firmly in control, showcasing their depth and clinical finishing at home.
