A Met Office weather warning for snow and ice was in effect across parts of Northern Ireland on 14 February 2026. Rain moving in from the west was expected to turn to snow over parts of Fermanagh, Tyrone and Londonderry.
Accumulations of 2-4 cm were possible over hills above 200m. Drivers on high level roads such as the Glenshane Pass and Coleraine Mountain Road may experience difficulties.
Any snow at lower levels was expected to be very localised and temporary. The wintry mix was forecast to turn back to rain at all levels later on Saturday night as milder air moved in.
