David Allingham has been declared the 2026 British Superstock champion after winning ten events during the campaign aboard his SMS/Nicholl Oils Racing BMW.

The Eglinton rider took the chequered flag at Brands Hatch GP circuit in Kent on Saturday to claim the opening race of the weekend and extend his championship lead.

Allingham entered the final round with a 42-point advantage over Milenco by Padgett's Honda rider Luke Mossey, who finished second behind him.

Billy McConnell also recorded a podium finish as Allingham maintained an unassailable position at the head of the standings with one race remaining.

In parallel developments, Northern Ireland-based Scars Racing team secured the British Supersport title through their rider Luke Stapleford.

Stapleford claimed victory in his first race of the weekend to secure a 47-point lead over Mossey at that stage of the championship.

The 31-year-old previously finished runner-up behind Ukraine's Ilya Mikhalchik during the 2025 edition of the series.

Stapleford recorded seven race wins throughout the 2026 campaign while Scars Racing, jointly managed by Dale McElveen and Leigh Finlay, prepares to move to the feature British Superbike series next year as official representatives of BMW Motorrad Motorsport.
