Aimee Mackin has been named September's The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month for her instrumental contribution to Shane O'Neill's achievement of their first Armagh senior club title.

The Camlough club secured the championship by defeating Crossmaglen in a decisive final held at the Athletic Grounds less than two weeks prior.

Mackin was the standout performer in that decider, registering 1-12 on the scoreboard to lead her side to victory.

Her performance in the semi-final against Carrickcruppen was equally commanding, where she contributed 3-5 to the team's progress.

The club triumph marks a significant milestone for Mackin, who now holds senior, intermediate and junior county medals with Camlough.

This local success complements her outstanding inter-county campaign for Armagh, which has already earned her nominations for both the TG4 All-Star and the 2026 TG4 Senior Players' Player of the Year award.

Mackin is now a five-time recipient of the LGFA Player of the Month accolade, having previously won the honour in April 2023, July 2021, March 2019 and April 2015.

Shane O'Neill's will resume their campaign on Sunday when they travel to face Cavan champions Knockbride at St Brigid's Park.
