Pizza Hut UK has entered administration, resulting in the closure of 68 dine-in venues and 11 delivery sites. The restructuring will put 1,210 employees at risk of redundancy.
A rescue deal has been agreed to save 64 sites and secure the future of 1,277 workers. The acquisition will transfer team members under UK TUPE legislation.
Nicolas Burquier, managing director for international operating markets, confirmed the acquisition aims to protect guest experience and jobs. The priority is operational continuity and supporting staff through the transition.
