Reform UK gains full control of Havering Council

Reform UK secured control of Havering London Borough Council, becoming the first Reform-run council in Greater London. The party won at least 28 of 55 seats, displacing the previous majority held by resident and ratepayer groups.

Reform UK achieved full control of Havering London Borough Council following local elections. The party secured at least 28 of the 55 available seats in the council.

This outcome marks the first instance of a Reform-run council in Greater London. The result displaced the previous majority held by resident and ratepayer groups.

Nigel Farage described the result as an historic shift in British politics. He asserted that Reform UK is now the most national party and dismissed claims that the success was merely a protest vote.
