A Russian drone strike hit Chornomorets Stadium in Odesa on 7 August 2026, shortly after Ukrainian air defence warned of approaching jet-powered drones. The attack occurred at around 3:30 p.m. local time.
Odesa Oblast Governor Oleh Kiper reported that a 29-year-old woman was injured at the stadium and received treatment on site. A 31-year-old man later sought medical help, raising the number of injured to two.
The stadium, located near Odesa's port, suffered significant damage, including partial destruction of the roof and damage to glazing and spectator stands. It is one of Ukraine's largest football venues, with a capacity of 34,164.
