Russian forces conducted a large-scale missile and drone attack on Kyiv on 14 November 2025. The assault caused significant damage to apartment buildings and sparked fires across the city.

At least 35 people were injured, including a pregnant woman, during the attack. Ukrainian officials reported that the strike was specifically designed to maximise civilian harm.

Ukrainian air defence systems, including American-made Patriot systems, intercepted 14 missiles. The Azerbaijan Embassy in Kyiv sustained damage from debris, prompting a statement from President Ilham Aliyev.
