Israel conducted 271 air and artillery strikes over five days, targeting densely populated areas and shelters for displaced people. The strikes resulted in 126 civilian deaths, including women and children, with 75 fatalities in Gaza City alone.
The World Health Organization reports that only 14 of Gaza’s 36 hospitals are partially operational, and a third of 176 primary care facilities remain functional. Health infrastructure continues to suffer from damaged equipment, broken systems, and repeated strikes.
