World Rugby has confirmed it will provide assistance to any nation wishing to move a Six Nations match to the United States as part of its ongoing strategy to grow the sport in North America.

The decision comes as the organisation pushes forward with plans to increase participation and viewership within the country.

South Africa and New Zealand have already secured full attendance at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium for their upcoming fourth and final Test match in the Greatest Rivalry series.

Ireland previously achieved a memorable victory over the All Blacks when the two sides faced off at Chicago's Soldier Field in 2016.

A rematch between the same opponents in 2025 also proved to be a significant commercial success.

Planning for both the men's and women's tournaments in 2027 has already been finalised by the governing body.
