A42 Galgorm Road works reach scheduled final day

The A42 Galgorm Road resurfacing scheme in Ballymena is scheduled to reach its final day on Monday, with no live confirmation that the road has reopened.

The Department for Infrastructure said the £605,000 project, covering 1.3km between the Sourhill Road roundabout and Grange Road, was expected to be substantially complete by 17 August if weather conditions were favourable.

Its published programme placed a closure between Dans Road and Grange Road from 27 July to 17 August.
